Preparing Your Shipment

When you have a package you’d like to ship from the US to friends and family around the world, MyUS PackageHopper makes it easy!

  1. Enter the destination country, your package dimensions, and weight, and receive an upfront, accurate TruePrice™ shipping rate based on weight only*. Then, choose the shipping method that meets your needs.
  2. Tell us what’s in the box by listing every item, its value, where it was made, and the quantity. Reference our list of prohibited and restricted items to make sure your package can safely be delivered to its destination.
  3. After you check out and pay for your shipment, PackageHopper will email you a shipping label and export documents to be printed before you drop off your package.
  4. Bring your shipment to a local drop-off point and we’ll take care of the rest!

*While 99% of shipments are calculated by weight only, TruePrice excludes shipments with linear dimensions (length + width + height) more than 80 inches (203cm).

To have your packages delivered by December 24:

Make sure your packages arrive in time for a holiday gift exchange. For the best chance of delivery in time for Christmas, please send your items by December 5.

What you need to do:

  1. Go through the usual PackageHopper procedure in entering shipment details, selecting a service option, and printing your shipping label.
  2. Drop off your package at your nearest USPS drop-off location before their final collection time on December 5th.

** USPS final collection hours vary by day and location. Please review your drop-off location’s last collection hours to ensure your package is tendered on time.

Your shipment will be traveling around the globe, so be sure to include plenty of padding for your items, packaged securely in a sturdy, unused cardboard box.

  3. What or who is the item for?

For example, if you are shipping running shoes, your answers would be:

  1. Shoes
  2. Fabric & Rubber
  3. Running

And your item description would be: Shoes, Fabric & Rubber, Running
