Protecting Your Shipment

We offer PackageHopper Protect, which covers your package if it is lost or stolen, up to the time of delivery. The cost is $2.99 per $100 of merchandise value, with a maximum value of $500.

Optional PackageHopper Protect coverage can be selected when you create your shipment, at a cost of $2.99 per $100 of merchandise value, up to $500. If your package is lost or stolen before delivery, you can file a claim for the value of the package contents. Prohibited Items are not covered by PackageHopper Protect.

MyUS PackageHopper Protect covers your shipment if it is lost or stolen prior to delivery, but does not protect against damage. To ensure your package is delivered safely, it’s important to pack the items securely in a sturdy, unused cardboard box.

If you purchased MyUS PackageHopper Protect coverage and your package is lost or stolen before delivery, you can file a claim for the value of the package contents. The loss of Prohibited Items is not covered by PackageHopper Protect. You can add PackageHopper Protect to your shipment with a merchandise value up to $500.
